Employee card 

The Employee card is intended for non-EU citizens who wish to reside and at the same time be employed in the Czech Republic for a period longer than 3 months. It is issued for a specific job vacancy listed in the ‘’Central register of job vacancies’’.

Employee card service - for employees includes:

  • Consultation regarding the whole process
  • Advisory and collection of all necessary documents
  • Advisory on superlegalization, apostilles, validation etc. 
  • Completion of the Employee card application form 
  • Booking an appointment at the embassy if applying from abroad
  • Personal assistance at the Ministry of Interior, arranging the appointments to apply for the biometric card and for collection
  • Personal assistance with the Foreign police registration (within three days of arrival into the Czech Republic)

Employee card service - for employers includes:

  • Consultation about rules on employing non-EU citizens in general and the process for obtaining the Employee card
  • Vacancy report to the Labour Office
  • Completion of form at the Labour Office, and documentation of discussion
  • Personal meeting - advisory about obligation to notify - providing employers with relevant forms
  • Ongoing support of employees during the whole process as specified above
